Disclaimer
NewsNYou publishes analysis and forecasts about world events. It is editorial work meant to inform your own thinking — not professional advice, and not a prediction to act on blindly.

Not professional advice
Nothing on NewsNYou is financial, investment, trading, legal, security, or other professional advice, and none of it is a recommendation to take or avoid any action. Do not make investment, travel, business, or safety decisions on the basis of this site alone. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional who can account for your specific situation.
Forecasts are uncertain — and some are wrong
NewsNYou publishes probabilities, not certainties. A confidence rating or a percentage is an estimate of likelihood, not a guarantee, and some forecasts will turn out wrong. That is expected. Rather than hide it, the site commits to a scoring rule in advance and keeps a public accuracy record — including the misses — on the Methodology page.
What is measured, and what is judgment
NewsNYou labels its numbers. Figures marked as sourced are traceable to a citation you can open; scores such as Impact and Influence are the site’s own editorial judgments, and are labeled as such where they appear. We stand behind our reasoning, but we don’t control the accuracy of the sources we cite. How each number is produced is set out on the Methodology page.
No endorsement
Describing the actions, aims, or influence of a state, group, or individual is analysis, not endorsement. Naming a party in an analysis does not imply NewsNYou supports or condemns it.
A point in time
World events move quickly. Each analysis reflects what was known and reasoned when it was written or last updated — shown by the date on the page — and may be overtaken by events. We update analyses when the picture changes materially, but we can’t guarantee any page is current.
