What NewsNYou is
NewsNYou is an independent publication of geopolitical analysis. It publishes editorial judgments and probabilistic forecasts about world events, alongside sources you can follow, and it is free to read. It is journalism and analysis — not a professional advisory service. See the Disclaimer.
Using the site and the content
You may read, quote, and link to NewsNYou for personal, educational, and journalistic purposes, with attribution. You may not republish whole articles as your own, scrape the site in a way that burdens it, or present our analysis as if it were someone else’s. The text and original graphics are the work of NewsNYou and its authors; cited sources and third-party images remain the property of their owners, under the licenses noted on the page.
The public data API
NewsNYou publishes a read-only JSON API under /api/v1/ for personal and research use. It is provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn at any time. Please fetch it at a reasonable rate and cache responses; automated access that degrades the service for others may be blocked.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Forecasts are uncertain by nature and some will be wrong; that is stated plainly in the Disclaimer, and the site keeps a public score of its own record on the Methodology page.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewsNYou and its authors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content — including decisions made on the basis of an analysis or forecast. Nothing here is professional advice.
Links to other sites
NewsNYou links to the external sources it cites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or how they handle your data once you follow a link.
Changes
We may update the site and these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NewsNYou’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
